Homes built before 1978 most likely contain lead in certain surfaces such as paints or finishes.  When contaminated surfaces are disturbed, lead becomes airborne and the results are hazardous.   There are precautions that we must perform to ensure the safety of your family in any contaminated home that we encounter.
