What does it mean to be certified? Affinity Home & Design is now certified with the CCB to properly remodel homes built before 1978 in Oregon. Homes built before 1978 most likely contain lead in certain surfaces such as paints or finishes. When contaminated surfaces are disturbed, lead becomes airborne and the results are hazardous.
